The short version
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, or impersonating staff.
- No cheating, botting, exploiting, or real-money trading of accounts or items.
- Never share personal contact info in chat, and never ask a minor for theirs.
- Any sexualisation, grooming, or exploitation of a minor gets an immediate, permanent ban and is reported to the authorities.
- Report problems by emailing [email protected] with the character name, channel, map, and time.
02Community rules
These rules apply everywhere in Lumenfall: chat, whispers, guilds, parties, character and guild names, and trading.
- No harassment or hate speech. Don't target another player based on who they are, threaten them, or repeatedly harass them.
- No cheating, botting, or exploiting. Lumenfall has server-side anti-cheat. Modified clients, third-party bots, and bug exploits are banned. The game's own official auto-hunt feature is allowed and time-limited. That's different from a third-party bot.
- No real-money trading. Buying, selling, or trading accounts, items, or currency for real money outside the game's own marketplace is prohibited.
- No impersonation. Don't pretend to be Ogen Technology staff or a moderator.
- Protect your privacy and others'. Never share personal information in chat (your real name, address, phone number, school, or social media), and don't ask others for theirs.
03Zero tolerance: child safety
Lumenfall has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This includes, but isn't limited to:
- Grooming, or any attempt to build a sexual relationship with a minor.
- Sexualising minors in any content, chat, or character name.
- Soliciting personal information from a minor.
- Trying to move a conversation with a minor off-platform (asking for a phone number, social media, or messaging app) to avoid moderation.
Any confirmed violation results in an immediate, permanent ban. We preserve the relevant evidence and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and/or relevant law enforcement, as required or appropriate.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local police first. Then email [email protected] (subject "Child safety") so we can act on the account.
04How to report a problem
Lumenfall doesn't have an in-game report button right now. To report a player, a message, or anything else that worries you, email us:
- Email [email protected].
- Include the character name involved, the channel, the map, and roughly when it happened.
- Attach a screenshot if you have one.
- For anything involving a child's safety, put "Child safety" in the subject line. We treat these as a priority.
05Enforcement
Depending on the severity and history of a violation, we may issue a timed mute (chat suspension), a temporary or permanent ban of the account, or removal of ill-gotten items or currency. Decisions are made by our moderation team based on the evidence available, including chat logs and reports. These standards are part of our Terms of Service, and breaking them can result in account suspension or termination as described there.

01Social features in Lumenfall
Lumenfall has in-game chat, whispers (private messages), parties, guilds and a player marketplace for trading items. We filter chat and guild/party notes for the worst violations. Moderators can review recent chat to investigate reports and enforce these standards.
